Four Corners Equine Rescue

Rescuing horses from perilous situations

We Did IT!
We have been looking and fundraising for additional acreage for almost 2 years now and finally WE DID IT! FCER purchased 2 acres of land with irrigation, and it's less than 1/2 mile from our main facility! This property is a dream come true for our vision of creating a peaceful haven for horses to have time to eat, drink and just be horses. Through these years of rescuing we have known that not only do the physical signs of mistreatment need to be addressed, but  the mental mistreatment as well. Now, finally, we can give these horses the "time out" to heal their wounded spirits.
THANK YOU

to all our loyal supporters who believed in us and our efforts to make this a reality!

The Work Begins

As you can see in the photo above, the newly purchased land is not developed. The nice thing about that is it allows us the opportunity to build it just the way we want it for the horses. So our goals for this first year are to get this piece operational, even if we have to wait until next year to plant the grass. There is no irrigation line to the property and since the ditches are already flowing it's too late to put in a headgate.
And so, we'll start with the pipe fencing, utilities and shelters.

If you or someone you know has skillsets in any of the above we would love to hear from you. Please email terry@fourcornersequinerescue.org or call the office at 505-334-7220

If you'd like to contribute to the building of this project we welcome that too! You can either click the PayPal button below, call the office to put it on your credit card over the phone or the good old fashioned way - mail a check! Our address is 22 Road 3334 Aztec, NM  87410

THANKS!!

UPDATE - We have ordered the Tool Shed and the Hay Barn! Scheduled to arrive around Sept. 1st.
Meanwhile - we need help with site prep - sand and gravel to haul in, leveling. In general - dirt work.
We are considering making the floor in the tool room cement, so if you can donate your time or skills to that project it would be most appreciated!
