Equine Senior $23.50 50 lb bag. Maintenance use for an older horse is 5 lbs. a day = 150 lbs a month
Rehab use while we're trying for weight gain can be as much as 10 lbs a day
Hay $7.50 a bale "2 string bales" A horse will consume 10 bales of hay a month on average = $75.00
Beet Pulp $13.25 40 lb. bag Beet Pulp Shreds are mixed with the Senior for the "Senior Mash"
A bag will last a Maintence Diet 1 month - 1/2 month for rehab
Shavings $8.50 A Bag Stall bedding for the horses in the barn - older guys or horses in rehab.
Average soiling will result in using 6 bags a month = $51.00
Annual Vaccinations Core Vaccinations for one year = $74.25 (or $6.19 a month)
Anual Teeth Floating All horses over 5 year have their teeth examined and floated if needed
Cost of the dental procedure = $97.75 (or $8.15 a month)
Dewormers 4 times a year horses are given dewormer on rotation. Cost = $27.00
Hoof work Most horses get their feet trimmed every 8 weeks at $50 or $25 per month
Training Ground training is $450 a month, saddle training $550
