Mustang Matinee
True history is revealed in the stories of the past and the science of today! Enjoy learning it over a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine from Wines of the San Juan. Enjoy the artist showing wild mare series and author book signing. Featuring Award Winning Non-fiction and fiction history author, Randi Samuelson-Brown, Artist, Jodi Brenner and Historian, Sara Annon with wildlife management researcher-innovator Roch Hart and local historians Dusty Pierce and Mike Leonard. Film Blocks include Equus Film and Art showcasing the mustang working with prisoners, mental health, horsemanship, veterans and performance entertainment with San Juan County Historical Society film block film short Carrizo The Inspiration and Mustang of the Carracas Mesa Documentary. And! showcasing the winner of the student filmmaker competition, “I am a Horse of the San Juan Basin.”
VIP tickets include the up-close personal presentation and talks with the authors, artists and historians 1-2:30 over beverages and fruit, cheese and crackers; General admission - film blocks and lobby exhibit only 2:30-6:30. Join us for a matinee afternoon to recognize the Treasure we have in our own back yard! Ticket proceeds go toward a future San Juan Basin Mustang haven, preservation and tourism center.

Pilares Canyon Trail Ride
Load up your trusty steed and meet us for a beautiful trail ride through Pilares Canyon where you will see 20 natural arches and enjoy the fall weather. We will have a BBQ and Silent Auction after the ride at Tiger Park.
