Steps to Adoption

Step 1: Read our Adoption Requirements and Fill out an Application.

Step 2: Schedule a Meet and Greet.

This is an opportunity to introduce yourself to our herd and establish the kind of equine relationship you are looking for. We typically require three visits before an adoption is approved. We want to make sure its love, not lust!

Step 3: Fill out an Adoption Agreement, and take your horse home!

We will retain ownership for 6 months after the horse leaves FCER property. This is time to ensure that the partnership is solid and that the horse has a forever home.
